Roebourne: 150 years 1866–2016 was designed and developed for the City of Karratha, Western Australia.
The arrangement of images creates a visual hierarchy and structures the book into smaller sections that guide the reader through the history of Roebourne.
Chapter opening page 'Prosperity, cyclones and setbacks'. A large hero image of a steam train in 1910 that signifies the start of a new age in Roebourne.
This book is unique in that it is in a landscape format. At the time of print, this was the largest landscape-size book that could be casebound in Australia.
The selection of photography depicts a rich, diverse and often turbulent history. Some of the photos in the book have never been published before.
